Change your server version
Move between Vanilla, Paper, Forge, Fabric and any Minecraft version without losing your world.

The version installer replaces the server jar, not your world. Your files stay where they are — but a world saved in a newer version cannot be opened by an older one, so downgrading needs a backup first.
- 1Stop the server from the panel. Changing the jar while it runs corrupts region files.
- 2Open Versions in the sidebar.
- 3Pick the software: Vanilla, Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Forge or Fabric.
- 4Pick the Minecraft version. Anything from 1.7.10 to the latest release is there.
- 5Press Install and wait for the log to say the download finished.
- 6Start the server and watch the console until you see "Done".
